FOODCRIPTION – Privacy Policy
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of FOODCRIPTION’s services. By creating an account, placing an order, or otherwise using FOODCRIPTION PRIVATE LIMITED’s services, you (“Customer” ,“User”, “You”) agree to be bound by these Terms, along with our Privacy Policy.
Definitions
“Account” refers to the unique, personal profile created by a Customer on FOODCRIPTION’s website or mobile application. An Account enables the Customer to place orders, manage subscriptions, update delivery and dietary preferences, view order history, and access other features of the Services. The Customer is solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of login credentials and for all activities conducted through the Account.
“Customer” / “User” / “You” refers to any individual or entity that creates an Account, places an order, subscribes to Membership or Services, participates in Corporate Programs, or otherwise uses FOODCRIPTION’s platform. Customers are required to be at least 18 years of age or to have the consent of a parent/guardian. Customers are responsible for providing accurate and up-to-date information and for complying with these Terms and applicable laws while using the Services.
“FOODCRIPTION” / “We” / “Us” / “Our” refers to FOODCRIPTION PRIVATE LIMITED, a company incorporated under the applicable laws of India, including its officers, employees, affiliates, directors, contractors, and authorized representatives. FOODCRIPTION is responsible for curating menus, coordinating with approved and certified kitchen partners and brand partners, and facilitating the delivery of OneBox to Customers. For clarity, FOODCRIPTION does not itself directly cook meals or manufacture products unless expressly stated.
“OneBox” refers to the curated daily nourishment box delivered by FOODCRIPTION, which may include a core meal, functional beverage, nutraceuticals or supplements, dry snack, and fresh snack. The specific contents of OneBox may vary from day to day and are curated by FOODCRIPTION in coordination with its kitchen and brand partners. OneBox is designed for general wellness purposes only and is not intended to constitute medical or clinical advice.
“Services” refers collectively to all products, features, programs, and offerings made available by FOODCRIPTION, including but not limited to: the curation, coordination, and delivery of OneBox; management of Memberships or Subscriptions; facilitation of Corporate Programs; customer support; and related digital platform services provided through the website or mobile application.
“Membership” / “Subscription” refers to the recurring service plan offered by FOODCRIPTION that allows Customers to access OneBox deliveries on a periodic basis (daily, weekly, monthly, or as otherwise offered), along with benefits such as discounted pricing, exclusive offers, or loyalty rewards. Memberships/Subscriptions are personal, non-transferable, and subject to renewal, cancellation, and termination policies set forth in these Terms. Unless otherwise specified, certain Subscriptions may automatically renew at the end of each term unless cancelled by the Customer before the renewal date.
1. Acceptance of Terms
- These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you (“Customer”, “User”, “You”) and FOODCRIPTION PRIVATE LIMITED (“FOODCRIPTION”, “We”, “Us”, “Our”).
- By creating an account, subscribing, or ordering a OneBox, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted these Terms.
- FOODCRIPTION reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Updates will be posted on our website/app, and continued use of our services implies acceptance of the updated Terms.
- You agree to comply with all applicable local, state, and national laws when using our services.
2. Service Scope
- FOODCRIPTION is a wellness-focused meal service that curates, coordinates, and delivers nutritious meals, snacks, beverages and supplements through approved and certified kitchen partner(s) and brands.
- FOODCRIPTION does not provide medical or clinical dietary advice. Information shared on nutrition is for general wellness purposes only.
- Our role is facilitative: we curate menus, ensure quality standards with kitchens and brands, and deliver meals and products.
3. Eligibility & Information
- You must be at least 18 years of age, or have the consent of a parent/guardian, to register for FOODCRIPTION.
- You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information (including delivery details, dietary preferences, and health considerations).
- FOODCRIPTION may suspend or terminate accounts that provide false or incomplete information.
4. Membership and Subscription Model
- FOODCRIPTION operates on a membership model.
- Members enjoy access to meal boxes at discounted rates and may receive additional benefits communicated from time to time.
- Memberships are non-transferable and valid only for the registered individual.
- Auto-Renewal: Certain Memberships or Subscriptions may automatically renew at the end of the applicable term (daily, weekly, monthly, or otherwise) using the payment method provided at the time of registration. Customers may disable auto-renewal at any time in their Account settings prior to the renewal date. Fees charged for auto-renewed Subscriptions are non-refundable once the new term has commenced.
5. Corporate Programs
- FOODCRIPTION may partner with organizations to provide meals at subsidized costs.
- Such arrangements will be governed by a separate agreement with the employer/organization.
- Employees participating through corporate partnerships are subject to these Terms, in addition to their employer’s agreement with FOODCRIPTION.
6. Orders, Refunds, Cancellations & Delivery
- OneBox deliveries can only be booked within the specified time slots. Orders placed outside these slots, or for operational reasons, may be declined or rescheduled by FOODCRIPTION for delivery on the next day.
- No Cancellations: Orders placed cannot be cancelled by the customer.
- Refunds: Refunds may be issued at FOODCRIPTION’s sole discretion in cases such as:
- Meals being incomplete or incorrect,
- Food being spoiled or unsafe at the time of delivery,
- Delivery failures attributable to FOODCRIPTION.
- Refunds will not be issued for reasons outside our control (e.g., customer unavailability, wrong address provided).
- Delivery: Services are available only in specific serviceable areas/cities (listed on our website/app). Delivery timelines are indicative and may vary due to traffic, weather, strikes, pandemics, or unforeseen events.
7. Food Safety & Kitchen Responsibility
- All meals are prepared by FOODCRIPTION’s partnered kitchen(s), which are independently certified and solely responsible for food preparation, hygiene, and compliance with applicable food safety regulations. FOODCRIPTION’s responsibility is limited to coordination and delivery.
- FOODCRIPTION itself does not directly cook or manufacture food.
- In the event of food contamination, spoilage, or any instance of foodborne illness,the responsibility rests with the respective kitchen partner.
- All products comply with FSSAI regulations. They are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. Please consult your doctor before use, especially if you have a medical condition, are pregnant, nursing, or taking other medication.
8. Allergen & Health Responsibility
- Ingredient transparency is provided with all menus. Customers must review these before consumption.
- FOODCRIPTION does not guarantee that meals are free from allergens (e.g., nuts, gluten, dairy).
- Customers are solely responsible for ensuring food suitability for their health needs.
9. Payments & Pricing
- Prices are displayed at the time of order and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless otherwise specified.
- Members may access discounted rates as per their plan.
- We accept UPI, credit/debit cards, net banking, and digital wallets.
- Payments are processed through secure third-party gateways. In case a payment fails but the amount is still debited, the refund will be initiated by your bank or payment provider. FOODCRIPTION will not be liable for delays or errors caused by the payment processor.
- Discounts, promotional codes, coupons, loyalty rewards, FoodCrypto are non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and may not be used in conjunction with any other offer, unless expressly permitted by FOODCRIPTION. FOODCRIPTION reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to amend, withdraw, or terminate any promotion, discount, or reward scheme at any time without prior notice.
- Dynamic Pricing: Prices may vary depending on availability, demand, or operational costs.
10. Privacy & Data
- FOODCRIPTION collects and processes personal data (such as name, dietary preferences, and order history) in line with our Privacy Policy.
- Data may be used for personalization, analytics, and aggregated wellness insights.
- In corporate programs, anonymized, aggregated reports may be shared with the employer for wellness tracking purposes.
- User-generated reviews/feedback may be used by FOODCRIPTION for marketing, with or without attribution.
- You are solely responsible for all activities under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized use.
- All trademarks, menus, recipes, branding, designs, software, and content belong to FOODCRIPTION. You may not copy, reproduce, repurpose, or distribute our content without prior written consent.
- Communication Consent: By creating an Account and using our Services, you consent to receive transactional and service-related communications from FOODCRIPTION via SMS, WhatsApp, push notifications, phone calls, and email. These communications are necessary for order confirmations, delivery updates, account management, and customer support. Customers may opt out of marketing/promotional communications separately, but not from essential service communications.
11. Limitation of Liability
- FOODCRIPTION shall not be held liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of your use of the service.
- This includes but is not limited to: missed meals, delays caused by third parties, health reactions, or force majeure events (natural disasters, strikes, etc.).
- FOODCRIPTION’s maximum liability is limited to the value of the affected order.
12. Use of Services
- You agree not to misuse the FOODCRIPTION platform (e.g., reselling meals, fraudulent activity, or tampering with app/website functions).
- Accounts found in violation may be suspended or terminated without refund.
13. Termination of Account/Services
FOODCRIPTION may suspend or terminate your account if you:
- Provide false information
- Misuse offers or engage in fraudulent activity
- Violate these Terms or applicable laws
Users may also terminate their account at any time via our platform.
14. Amendments
- FOODCRIPTION reserves the right to modify these Terms.
- Updates will be communicated via website, app, or email. Continued use constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.
15. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
- These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where FOODCRIPTION is registered.
- Disputes shall first be resolved amicably. If unresolved, disputes will be referred to arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996.
- The seat of arbitration shall be Hyderabad, and proceedings shall be conducted in English.
- Courts in Hyderabad shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
- Severability If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable under applicable law, the remaining provisions shall continue to be valid, binding, and enforceable to the fullest extent permitted by law.
17. Entire Agreement Clause
Entire Agreement: These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any other referenced policies or guidelines, constitute the entire agreement between the Customer and FOODCRIPTION regarding the use of our Services. They supersede any prior or contemporaneous communications, understandings, or agreements, whether written or oral.

- I acknowledge that FOODCRIPTION curates and facilitates meals via partnered kitchens, which are solely responsible for food safety and hygiene.
- I understand that FOODCRIPTION does not provide medical or curative dietary advice and that I am responsible for reviewing ingredient information for allergens and suitability.
- I accept that orders cannot be cancelled, and refunds are granted only at FOODCRIPTION’s discretion in cases of incomplete, incorrect, or spoiled orders.
